Flipper, faster than lightning...or at least a greased cheetah strapped to a bullet train.
Carl Edwards wins the
Nationwide Series race at
O’Reilly Raceway Park, beating out
Kyle Busch towards the end, who ultimately finished second.
The race was punctuated by some unusual moments, like the pace car racing out, causing then-leader Trevor Bayne to have to check up rapidly and Steven Wallace to get into him, spinning him. Both drivers salvaged Top 10s, but were never back up at the front like that again.
Rounding out the Top 10 were Matt Kenseth, Brad Keselowski, Steve Wallace, Ron Hornaday, Trevor Bayne, Jason Leffler, Scott Wimmer and Kenny Wallace.
Full results after the jump.

Something old, something new...
Contesting my recent post that NASCAR has become an old man’s game, new Nationwide Series driver Trevor Bayne, 18, will be on the pole for tonight’s Nationwide race at O’Reilly Raceway Park. If you’re keeping track, the ages of the pole winners for the three series this weekend are 20, 50 and 18 (Braun, Martin and Bayne). Strange polarization in the ages of success this weekend.
Behind Bayne, you have more young blood in Brad Coleman, Steve Wallace and Erik Darnell. Then the rest of the Top 10 is Terry Cook, Scott Lagasse, Brad Keselowski, Ron Hornaday, Brendan Gaughan and Mike Bliss.
Full starting lineup after the jump.

For the first time all year, a race that left Carl Edwards feeling upside-down. Well, other than Talladega, of course... (AP Photo/Darren Hauck)
Carl Edwards wins the
Nationwide Series race at
the Milwaukee Mile.
Kyle Busch led most of the way, only to finish second again. Of course, second to Kyle is “first loser,” which, ironically, is in line with the opinion of a great many NASCAR fans, 88 on their arms or otherwise.
It was a good day for Roush Fenway all around, with all three cars in the Top 5. Ricky Stenhouse led as many laps as Carl did and finished 5th. Erik Darnell ended up with a 4th-place finish, battling Kyle and then Brad Keselowski for the end of the race.
Steven Wallace, Mike Bliss, Stephen Leicht, birthday boy Ron Hornaday, who won earlier in the Truck Series race, and Jason Leffler rounded out the Top 10.

It's just what I wanted!
Ron Hornaday didn’t get want he wanted for his birthday today apparently, so he went out and got himself exactly what he wanted: a win in the Truck Series at the Milwaukee Mile. Hornaday dominated the race, leading 180 of 200 laps. No one had anything for him.
Rounding out the Top 10 were Dennis Setzer, Brian Scott, Todd Bodine, James Buescher, Stacy Compton, Tayler Malsam, Colin Braun, David Starr and Terry Cook.

Doing Texas proud.
Colin Braun wins the Michigan 200
Truck Series race at
Michigan.
Kyle Busch dominated much of the race, but clean air was the key and when Kyle Busch got caught behind a lead-lap car towards the end, that was enough to let Colin Braun get around him to pick up the win.
This is Braun’s first win in NASCAR, Ford’s first win in the Truck Series this season (and first since Erik Darnell won this race last year) and the first Texan to win in the Truck Series since David Starr back in 2006.
Behind Braun and Busch, you had Brian Ickler in third, Matt Crafton in fourth and Mike Skinner in fifth.

When he bares his teeth, winter meets its death; and when he shakes his mane, we shall have spring again...wait, why are they spelling it with a Z?
Johnny Sauter is on the pole for the Winstar World Casino 400 at
Texas. Mmmm…Trucky.
Behind him were Ron Hornaday, Matt Crafton, Brian Ickler, subbing for Kyle Busch and Dennis Setzer.

And not one single lazy Great Scott joke.
Brian Scott wins the AAA Insurance 200
Camping World Truck Series race at
Dover. However, the real story was the power and efficiency in the failure rate of front right tires: failure so massive and pervasive that hack writers could consider comparing it to Napoleon’s invasion of Russia in 1812. (Ironically, you could easily use Tchaikovsky’s commemorative overture in montages of both failures.)
Too obtuse?
The tire failures ultimately sunk the chances of Ron Hornaday early and Kyle Busch and Colin Braun late.

That's the second time this year he's snuck in to get a win at the end.
Brad Keselowski took advantage of late contact between
Kyle Busch and
Joey Logano after Kyle lost a tire to steal a win at the Heluva Good! 200
Nationwide Series race at
Dover that was dominated by the two
Joe Gibbs Racing drivers. Keselowski has only led 29 laps at all levels of NASCAR this year, but he’s still managed to pick up two wins.
Joey Logano finished second, Clint Bowyer finished third. Brian Vickers and Carl Edwards round out the Top 5. Kyle Busch ended up finishing 17th.

19 means 19.
Joey Logano is on the pole for this afternoon’s Heluva Good! 200 Nationwide race at Dover. David Ragan will start second, followed by Kyle Busch, Scott Speed and Kevin Harvick.
The big story that a lot of people were looking for though, Jeffrey Earnhardt, in his first attempt to qualify for a Nationwide race, failed to qualify.
Keep reading for the full starting lineup.
