I purchased this model LG 42LK450 because of the many favorable reviews. The factory settings out of the box weren’t suitable, so I had to do a lot of tweaking to get a decent picture. It’s not as crisp as other LCD’s and I recently read a tech review that says this LCD model does not have as deep a black as most models. Compared to my 7 year old Panasonic Plasma, the picture can be muddy and dark, so that may explain why. So, I’m a little disappointed in the overall picture quality.
