I was able to get it inside my house, and set it up without any help from the husband. (If you watch the short “Set Up” video instructions, it will take about 5 minutes to set up.) I would say the board is perfect for my height, not sure it would work for those who are very tall though. It is comfortable to use, just keep your hair up ladies! I have been enjoying trying out all of the exercises with the handy training deck -those cards are so helpful! And the accessories are awesome!

I am already getting use from all of them. I can definitely see myself purchasing more such as the AbCrunch, Weight Bar, Dip Bar, and Pilates Kit. Overall, this is a well rounded piece of equipment. After “catching” my husband using this Total Gym, he has given his approval as well. I am already looking forward to my next workout!!

My results have inspired my friends and family. My Neighbor and my brother now own a total gym. I also purchased the bike attachment to use mainly for cardio in the winter. I prefer to work out on the total gym 2-3 times per week and do cardio on the in between days. however the bike attachment has to hook up to the total gym. I don’t really like setting up the gym if I am not really going to use it, so I made a free standing “stand” for the bike.

I can use it on any carpeted surfaces. The stand is made out of wood, I put putruding screws on the bottom, to grip the carpet. I use it sitting in an office chair, kitchen chair, even watching TV in my recliner chair. I believe total gym should make an optional stand. It would be great for elderly, handicapped….anyone who is able to sit in a chair and peddle. Just my opinion anyway.

Review:
This LG 42LK520 is replacing my well-loved Toshiba CRT tv (which, to my dismay, refused to age or give any sign it was ready to quit and justify my purchase), so I can’t claim great sophistication when it comes to comparing modern, flat-panel TVs.

Having said that, I couldn’t be happier with this LG. The image is crisp and true. The color saturation on the default setting is perhaps a touch brighter than life – which I’m sure can be manipulated easily, but I rather like seeing the world with bright green grass and impossibly blue sky, so I haven’t bothered. The trumotion works well and so far I have seen no after-image or blur. The sound quality is good, but not great, but it matters little to me as I run it through my fairly old home theatre system which makes the whole experience quite wonderful. I even like the subtle light that glows on the lower right corner and turns from red to blue when you turn the tv on – totally unrelated to the tv’s performance, but it’s just cool and makes the tv look expensive. I am enjoying this TV tremendously, and sometimes will turn it on just to look at how nice the picture is.

For about $650 with free shipping, how could I not be happy? Shipping was impressively quick. Set up was relatively easy, though the installation manual is so simple as to be relatively useless. Incidentally, if you’re hooking it up to your satellite receiver, you have to press “input” on your remote and then select “HDMI” – the instruction manual doesn’t tell you this.

None of the minor weaknesses (like the sound – which isn’t bad, it just didn’t blow me away) are signficant enough to drop it out of five-star range. At this price point this TV provides incredible value. I really could not be happier with this purchase.

My biggest concern was the 60 Hz refresh rate because I often watch sports. Another concern was the audio quality of the unit because we were not going to be using an external sound system. In the end we decided to purchase this TV from Amazon and we have been very pleased. The TV was delivered to our home without a hitch. We have not noticed any video artifacts due to the 60 Hz refresh rate and the audio quality is more than adequate. I would definitely recommend this TV to others…

It’s not an LED and it’s not 3D and that is exactly what I wanted. The price was great and the picture is outstanding. Yes, it does not compare to my Bose sound system, but it is pretty darn good in my bedroom. I am very happy with it and would highly recommend it!
