Another fun announcement, right on the heels of Cup drivers’ trip to Michigan, Chevrolet is cutting factory support in both the Nationwide and Camping World Truck Series. The Truck Series is just getting hit left and right. This drops official manufacturer support in the Truck Series down to one: Toyota, with Ford and Dodge having pulled out before the season began. Overall, this is going to seriously affect some of the bigger Nationwide and Truck teams like KHI and JR Motorsports. It’s not the end of the world yet, but things are not looking good for NASCAR’s minor-league system right now.
