I double checked his record, in 1981, Handsome Harry drove Needham's Skoal Bandit under three manufacturers: Chevrolet, Buick and Pontiac. The Pontiac finished 2nd a few times and got one pole, but never won. In 1982, they went with Buick pretty much exclusively. And during the whole early 80s, his success came with Buick and Chevrolet. And his early 90s "second wind" came in an Oldsmobile. Actually, Harry Gant didn’t drive the Pontiac too much.
